Winter Wellness: Stay Healthy This Cold and Flu Season

6 pm – 6:10: Welcome from Union Capital Boston. Shavonne Herrington explains to everyone how the evening will go.

6:10 – 6:20: Dr. Crichlow talks about the importance of staying healthy, and how it is not just one thing, but many things – many that we will address this evening. She will also

break the attendees into four groups by having people count off from 1 to 4. Each group

will have between 12-15 people in it. During the groups, we will have Nursing present to offer flu vaccines.

6:20 pm – 6:40 pm

  • Group 1 hears from Dr. Crichlow about the importance of flu vaccines and

immunizations in general

  • Group 2 hears from Shania about sleep and stress management

  • Group 3 hears about Nutrition from Kathy or Sheri

  • Group 4 hears about how yoga can help boost your immune system and they’ll

be led through some seated yoga poses

6:40 – 7:00 pm

  • Group 1 hears from Shania about sleep and stress management

  • Group 2 hears about Nutrition from Kathy or Sheri
